Fonctionnement - A gloomy smog in a jar

How does it work?

As the hot water evaporates, it rises and meets the cold from the ice cubes. As it cools, the water vapour condenses and 'sticks' to particles in the air, forming fog.

The smoke from a match increases the amount of particles in the air, allowing more fog to form.

You can also briefly lift the lid and look inside to see the fog forming.
